“Box it Up!” Packaging with the Cricut (NORTH)

Discover how to create custom packaging using a Cricut machine. Whether you're adding a personal touch to Halloween giveaways or developing packaging prototypes for your small business, this hands-on workshop will walk you through the entire process—from design to assembly. No prior experience required—just bring your creativity! 

In this in-person workshop, attendees will be guided through the basics of how to create a simple project with the Cricut Maker 3. This workshop is recommended for beginners who have never used a Cricut machine before. 

By the end of this tutorial, you will: 

  • Know how to book the Cricut Maker and/or Easy Press at the Idea Lab
  • Understand how to create and upload designs in the Cricut Design Space app  
  • Understand how to prepare and send a file for cutting
  • Know how to change tools and materials
  • Be able to identify common errors

By completing the workshop, attendees will be able to book the Cricut Maker at the Idea Lab. Alternatively, users can complete the online tutorial at Idea Lab: Cricut Tutorial.
