Help normalize sharing pronouns by making your own custom laser-cut pronoun pin at the Idea Lab! 🌈 In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the basics of laser cutting and engraving using the Glowforge Pro. After cutting your pin from acrylic or wood, you’ll have the chance to personalize it further with paint. 🎨🖌️
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:-
Understand what laser cutting is and explore its common uses

Identify materials that are safe (and unsafe) to use with a laser cutter

Apply essential safety practices for operating the laser cutter

By completing the workshop, you will be approved to book the Glowforge laser cutter at the Idea Lab to work on your own projects.

Optional: Bring your own laptop to work along with the presenter or use the desktop computers in the space.
